Hi Folks!!!
I know we all get upset at the track sometimes, but we all have to remember, we are watching from the stands (most of us, anyway), we have to keep in mind that this is a hobby that we all want to enjoy. Nothing more. YES! We are passionate about it, and we really get involved (guilty, myself)....but we all need to learn to find out the facts before we jump. That being said, we had some really good racing on Saturday night. All the classes put on a good show, but those Late Models were amazing. Our local top dogs (James Ussery and Russell Welch) were unseated by a fast car, none other than #57 Shep Lucas. It only took him a very few laps to learn the turns and he was gone from the drop of the green flag, lapping all but 2 cars at the end of the 40 lap race.
#13L Lane Grice took the green flag in pole position and never let up to lead all laps and take the Sportsmen trophy.
The wreck between #7 Caleb Knight and #71 Landon Ussery led to a little bit of drama but was quickly extinguish and the ended with #x2 Dustin Hughes taking home the 1st place trophy in the Bomber class.
I really hope everyone will come out and support local dirt track racing and give this track a chance to prove that they are improving the track with every race.......ALL I CAN ASK YOU TO DO IS GIVE IT A CHANCE :)........HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE RACES :).....I encourage comments, but PLEASE, try not to be to negative, the comments will come to my email and I will try and discuss them with track management , thanks !
